Senior Cap and Gown Picture Day is Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 8-9:30 am. Boys need to wear a button-up shirt and tie (not a polo). Bow ties and long ties are both acceptable. If you need help getting these items, please let us know as soon as possible. The color of shirt/tie combo is up to you. It doesn't have to be white. However, keep in mind that the gowns are maroon. This is a waist-up photo. There is no need to wear dress pants or shoes. Girls, the gowns are V-neck. Typically, the top underneath should also be V-neck so it doesn't show. However, this is completely your preference. You may wear whatever jewelry, etc. that you'd like. **Your hands and fingers/fingernails are going to be seen in your photo. I just wanted to give you a heads up of that so you can make sure they are cleaned, painted, etc. If you have any questions, please call VBHS at 931-946-2442.

VBHS (grades 6-12) yearbooks are on sale now. You must order by March 15th to get your student's name on the cover. Cash or check is accepted at school. Make checks payable to VBHS. VBHS is hosting a Fall Fun Bonfire tomorrow night, Friday, October 25, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m for students in grades 6-12. It will take place in the back packing lot. Admission is $2 which includes a concession item. We are looking forward to a fun night and encourage all of our VB Eagles to attend!

This Thursday, October 10th is yearbook picture makeup day for those who were absent on Sept 26th (no charge). If you had your picture made on Sept. 26th and would like a retake, the cost is $5 which will deducted from the total of any order you place. Pictures will begin at 8am. We will also be taking cross country, golf, middle school softball, and high school volleyball team and individual pictures on Oct. 10th. Please see your coach for more information. College & Career Spotlight - VBHS would like to recognize one of our 2023 graduates on his achievements at TCAT McMinnville. 🎉 Congratulations to Logan Jones! 🎉 Logan has been awarded the Skills USA National Statesman Award! This prestigious award was granted based on his exceptional interview performance at TCAT McMinnville. He truly impressed everyone during his interview. Logan was presented this award at a ceremony in Washington D.C. last month! When asked why Logan was chosen, his instructor praised him for being responsible, showing outstanding leadership, and following instructions.

Van Buren County High School will be partnering with Blood Assurance on Tuesday, September 10th for a Blood Drive. The Blood Drive will take place from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. 16 year old students will need to bring the signed parental consent form & ALL donors will need to bring ID. Please see Ms. Abbie Bouldin (VBHS Librarian) or scan the QR to sign up.

Attention: Any students in grades 6th-12th interested in fishing this year needs to meet with Ms. Tiffany in the VBHS Auditorium at 9am on Tuesday, August 20th.

Senior pictures will be made on Wednesday, August 14th and Thursday, August 15th. This includes a formal picture made in the provided drape or tux as well as a casual picture in an outfit of the student's choice. Please call VBHS at 931-946-2442 if you have any questions.
