Assistant Principals are problem solvers, mentors, and leaders who help schools thrive.
Their work strengthens school culture, supports educators, and ensures students have the opportunities they deserve. This week for Assistant Principals Week, join us in celebrating VBHS's very own Assistant Principal, Mrs. Amanda Cronin, who makes a lasting impact in our school community.
Thank you, Mrs. Cronin, for everything you do for the faculty, staff, students, and entire VBHS school community. We appreciate you!

Just a Reminder that tomorrow is the Day!!! We invite the Community to come donate blood as well as staff and students.
🩸❤️ Van Buren County High School Blood Drive – March 18th! ❤️🩸
Van Buren County High School will host its final blood drive of the school year on Wednesday, March 18th from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM, and the community is more than welcome to come out and donate!
We are proud to partner with Blood Assurance, who is not only helping save lives but is also fostering a grant program this year to give back financially to partnered schools. Your donation doesn’t just help patients in need — it helps support our school as well!
🎁 As a special thank you, every donor (students and community members alike) will receive a pair of exclusive “Grateful Donor” socks while supplies last!
One donation can save up to three lives. Let’s come together as a community and make a difference. We hope to see you there! 💉🩸

Our 7th Grade World History students recently took part in an engaging Gallery Walk centered on the Columbian Exchange. Students rotated through a variety of stations where they explored rich texts, graphs, maps, and historical images to deepen their understanding of this pivotal period in history.
Each station challenged students to think critically as they completed questions on a graphic organizer, analyzing the global impact of the exchange of goods, ideas, and people. Topics included the spread of diseases, changes in population, the introduction of new crops, domesticated animals, cuisine, and other key influences that reshaped societies across continents.
It was exciting to see students actively collaborating, asking thoughtful questions, and making connections between geography, economics, and culture. Learning came to life as they uncovered how the Columbian Exchange continues to influence our world today! 🌍📚
