Middle school girls basketball tryouts will be Friday, May, 21st from 3-4:30pm in the auxiliary gym. Tryouts are for students who will be entering the 6th-8th grades next school year. Please dress appropriately and wear basketball shoes. For students who are attending school that day, please meet Coach Lakelyn in the front lobby of the high school and walk across the road together.
MIDDLE SCHOOL SOFTBALL:
Middle School girl's softball tryouts will be Tuesday, May 18th, from 4:30 to 6pm, at the softball field. Tryouts are open to students who will be in the 5th through 8th grades in the fall. Please dress appropriately and bring your glove!

Mini cheer camp will be held this week on Tuesday, May 11, and Wednesday, May 12, from 3:00-5:00 at the Spencer Elementary School Gym . This cheer camp is for any child grades K-5. The cost is 20.00 per child and $10.00 for each additional child. If you would like your child to attend, please have the money and form turned into the front office by Tuesday morning. Also remember to send your child in appropriate clothing for those two days (tennis shoes, shorts, leggings, t-shirt). All proceeds go to the VBHS cheerleaders.
Spencer Elementary School is hosting our annual Awards Day Program on Thursday, May 13th. You are receiving this notice because your child in grades K, 1 and/or 2 is receiving an award. Families will “travel” to eight different countries and engage in activities specific to the culture of the country. These activities are so much fun that children will have to be reminded that they are measuring, graphing, using fractions, and engaging with mathematical operations, timelines, and geometry. The Tea Party with Princesses (VBHS Cheer Fundraiser) is this Saturday, April 10. The event price is $15.00 for one adult and one child and $5.00 for each additional person. Money can be turned in at school to your child's teacher or in the front office of either SES or VBHS. Cash is preferred. The deadline is TOMORROW, April 6.

Fun Run Forms and Cash Donations are due tomorrow, September 24! Any student who collects at least $25 will receive a 5th Annual SES Fun Run T-Shirt! Students who collect at least $50.00 will get to Tie Dye their t-shirts at school with Mr. Delong! The t-shirt design is shown below! The Fun Run will be on Thursday, October 8! It's the healthiest, most fun fundraiser of the year! All fundraising efforts are appreciated! Every dollar helps!
