🏆 Mrs. Beth Delong’s 3rd grade class was the Top Class Fundraiser with an incredible $830.85 raised! As a reward, they’ll enjoy a picnic lunch and extra recess — and they’re SO excited! ☀️🍎⚽
👏 Our Top Individual Fundraisers were:

Sawyer Delon (3-5) with $350.00

Respect means treating others with kindness, listening when someone is speaking, honoring differences, and showing care for people, places, and things around us.

We’re excited to announce that the Dental Sealant Program will be available this year for all Van Buren County students in Pre-K through 12th grade!
This is a FREE preventive dental service designed to help protect your child’s teeth and promote long-term oral health.
✅ Every student will receive a dental sealant form.
📝 Parents must complete and return the consent form in order for their child to participate.
We only have this program every 3 to 5 years so don’t miss out on this great opportunity to keep those smiles healthy and strong! 😁

Returning Student Online Registration Clarifying Information
1. Returning Student Registration has to be completed by a guardian/parent ONLY. This cannot be completed on the Student Access (this is currently locked). Also, Skyward Login Information cannot be given out to Non-Guardians/Custodians.
2. At this time we are still a CEP school for 2025-26, which means Breakfast and Lunch is Free. We still need Food Service Applications filled out though due to using them for other purposes such as state and federal funding.

3rd Grade Parent Appeal
If a 3rd grade student scores "approaching expectations" on the ELA portion of the TCAP or ELA TCAP retake, the child's parent may submit an appeal within the designated appeal timeline upon receiving the retention decision from their child's school. The Appeal Submission form located here, https://stateoftennessee.formstack.com/forms/2025thirdgraderetentionappeal, will be open from May 27 to June 27. Appeals must be submitted through the Appeal Submission Form and must include all required information and accurately completed documentation, if applicable. Please see the Third Grade Appeal Resources section of this page, https://www.tn.gov/education/learning-acceleration.html, for forms, guidance, and other translations of appeal documents. Please contact SES to get information about the available pathways to fourth-grade promotion, which may include summer camp and tutoring.
