Family Hangout Night
VBCS Families, This morning, around 7:45 am a malfunction in the alarm system at the high school building occurred. It was determined that the system could not immediately be reset and therefore students and staff would need to relocate to the auxiliary gym. Fire department personnel quickly determined that it was safe to return to the building. Work is currently being done to prevent this from occurring again. We are extremely proud of how our students, staff, and community handled this situation! We apologize for any confusion this event may have caused. Thank you for your understanding through this.

Make kindness the norm! Join with Van Buren County Schools this week, February 13-17, in celebrating Random Acts of Kindness Week. RAK week is a celebration of all the ways we can become a positive influence in each other’s lives. The world can be selfish and cruel sometimes and not everyone receives the same kind of support they need. In such a world, it is important for us to constantly be reminded to be kind to one another and to give others hope whenever we can. A small and random gesture of kindness can go a long way at home, at school, in the community, and even in the world because kindness truly is contagious!
