Van Buren County High School has been named a 2022 Tennessee Reward School so now it's time to celebrate!

***HAVE YOU HEARD?***
Van Buren County Middle and High School has been named as a "TENNESSEE REWARD SCHOOL" by the Tennessee Department of Education. This is the TOP distinction that a Tennessee school can be given based on a set of criteria set forth by the Department of Education.
According to the TDOE's website, schools serving K-8 students are evaluated on four indicators, including achievement on the Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) assessments, TCAP assessment growth over time, rates at which students are Chronically Out of School, and performance on the English Language Proficiency Assessment (ELPA). High schools, in addition to these four indicators, are also evaluated on Graduation Rate and Ready Graduate Rate, or the rate at which students graduate while also having achieved milestones associated with college and career readiness.
CONGRATULATIONS to VBHS faculty, staff, and students on achieving this designation for the FIRST TIME in Van Buren County Schools history!
